PRESTON HAVEN

This long time client and I met many years ago through my mentor. Since then we have worked on several small furniture projects together, all the while dreaming about gutting the primary bathroom and closet. The “Big Texas freeze” caused flooding complications and led to the remodel of not one but two bathrooms! The homeowners had the grand idea to take space from a bedroom to create a new primary closet space which allowed for a much more generous bathroom. We implemented custom cabinetry and recessed storage which gives the space an open and modern look.

Upstairs we converted an unused bedroom into a music room. The adjacent bath, also damaged in the freeze, got a complete makeover. To make this small bath feel bigger, we added a console vanity and created an interesting entry by camouflaging the attic door with built-in storage. I love the way these bathrooms turned out!
